DAY 1 Arrival to Addis Ababa Flight to Mekelle ; located between the Dallol Danakil Depression in the east and the Simien Mountains in the southwest and this will allow you to enjoy many prominent geographical features and visit the palace of emperor Yohannes over night in Axum hotel/hilltop hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Ahmedila on the way visit the Afar village over the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley system to the western highland. Overnight at Ahmedila

DAY 3: Drive to the living Volcano Ertale.
ErtaAle means "smoking mountain” in the local Afar language
The lava lake on ErtaAle was recently shown briefly during the 2010 movie Clash of the Titans During the journey sequence where Perseus travels to the underworld.Trekk around 3hrs to reach to the mountain at the top accompanied by your guide, camel drivers, scout by moon light it seems like foretells. Overnight camping on the top of the mountain nearby to the volcano.

Day 4: Drive to Ahmedila on the way visit the thousands of camel caravan and the rock salt mining. Overnight camping in Ahmedila

Day 5: Early in the morning Visit the Danakil depression the Salt extraction, the color full salt lake with chemicals and the camel caravans of the Afar people. In the morning drive from Ahemedila to Lake Asele and Drive further to Dallol Cobar Sink; the lowest spot on earth’s surface not covered by water. (-116 below sea level) enjoy the spectacular view and small hill, which is colorful by hot spring in several places. The hot spring out with the sulfurs, potash and salt it forms spectacular formation you will see the most colorful rock and mineral covers that create a harmony of different colors like rainbow. Overnight in camping in Ahmedila.

Day6 on this day you will drive to Meqeulle on the way enjoy the caravan merchants with the beautiful sun set and overnight in Meqeulle Axum hotel

Day 7 on this day flight to Addis Ababa and you will have city tour of Addis with major places. Including the national museum St. Gorge church and the biggest open market in Africa MERKATO. In the evening there will be a fare well dinner at one of the beautiful traditional restaurant with Ethiopian folkloric dance. Depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to Bole international airport for your departure to your home.
