BALE MOUNTAIN TREKKING gives you opportunities for unsurpassed
mountain walking, horse trekking, scenic driving and the
changes to view besides staggering number of bird species,
many of Ethiopia's endemic mammals like Mountain Nyala and
Ethiopian wolf.
. The diversity of habitats, scenery, and wildlife is awe
inspiring. It is one of those special places in Ethiopia where
visitors can see rare and endemic wildlife,
Day 1; Arrival welcomed by L`Arada tour representative and
city tour over night hotel
Day 2: Addis-Ethiopian Rift Valley – Dinsho
After breakfast drive through Ethiopian Great Rift Valley
en-route enjoying the beautiful Rift Valley Lakes and the
spectacular mountain scenery.
The rest of the day, walk around the Juniper forest around the
park headquarter and explore the area where high concentration
of the Bale Mountains Nayal, Minilik Bush Buck and other
mammals are found.

Day3: Dinsho - Geysay Valley – Dinsho (3250m)
Trekking time: 5-6 hrs
Trek to Geysay Valley, to the northerly extension of the park.
Here, while trekking in the indigenous forest, it’s possible
to spot the endemic Minilik Bush Buck and Mountain Nyala and
other mammals including the endemic Ethiopian Wolf.
O/N: Camping at Dinsho.
Day 4: Dinsho – Weib Valleys-Fincha áberaTrekking time: ~6 hrs
Trek and pass through the stunning Weib Valley and the finally
reach at the beautiful waterfall of Finch’Abera.
O/N: Camping Fincha Abera
Day 5: Fincha ábera-Merero-WasmeaTrekking time: 8 hrs
Trek beneath the peaks of Merero; see and taste the strange
mineral springs before making the steep ascent out of the head
of the valley onto the Sanette Plateau.
O/N: Camping Wasmea
Day 6: Wasama Valley - Batu - Garba Guracha LakeTrekking time:
9 hrs
Climb Batu (4203 m), and then trek on across the arms of the
Batu horseshoe, to camp beside lovely Garba Guracha Lake-set
beneath towering cliffs in the head of the Tegona Valley.
O/N: Camping at Garba Guracha.
Day 7: Garba Guracha - Sanetti Plateau to Goba Town: We trek
for 5 hrs to the highest peak in the Bale Mountains, Tullu
Deemtu (4377m, 14357ft) which is part of the Sanetti Plateau.
The vistas are simply unbelievable and so photogenic. Here you
will find small alpine lakes and typical afro-alpine
vegetation that includes the Giant Lobelia and shrubs such as
'Everlasting'. Vistas reach out to the strange pinnacles of
Chorchora Peak and across the sheer-sided Tegona River Gorge.
There are views to the steep-sided volcanic plug of Konteh
Tullu and the long, craggy ridges of Mount Batu. The car will
meet us here and drive us down to Goba town for an overnight
stay at Wabe Shebele Hotel.
Day 8 ;On this day you will drive AsebeTefre on the way visit
the beautiful 10century shrine of Shek Husen & Sofu Omar Cave
overnight Asebe Teferi Local hotel
Day 9; on this day you will drive to Harrer after check in and
some rest drive to Babele to visit city of wonders drive back
to Harrer overnight heritage plaza hotel
Day 10 On this day you will visit the ancient walled city of
Harar was established from 1520, Visit the beautiful walled
city of Harrer , the museums ,the Adere houses and their house
decoration and the beautiful market. You will also visit the
Arthur Rambo’s house in thein the evening visit the hyena man
who feeds hyenas.
Day 11 On this day you will drive to Awsh National park and
visit Awash National Park it is Located in the lowlands 225 km
east of Addis Ababa,. The Park covers an area of 827 square
kilometers At all places and all times it is possible to see
game: endemic baisa Oryx, Soemmerring's gazelle and wild pig
are common Over four hundred species of birds are recorded for
the park: They range from the great ostrich, frequently and
easily observed, and the less common Secretary Bird and
Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, and, has some spectacular
waterfalls .Overnight in Awash fall lodge.
